You're right that the tool lacks some features that BFXR has, though not the waveform one specifically (this is the 'Mode' slider). Without going too in depth, both tools differ in how they synthesise sound; the goal isn't for sfxia to be a superset of BFXR but to be a tool separate to it that produces sounds that are typically different to what it would produce.

Independent Mixer

At the heart of NS6 is a four-channel mixer that can operate standalone, which means you can mix up to four external sources without even turning your computer on. Connect and mix CD players, turntables, MP3 players, or any other external source—you never have to worry about the awkward silence and inevitable moans of an unhappy crowd. Plus, the built-in 24-bit audio interface was engineered without compromise, giving NS6 audiophile-grade circuitry that keeps your mix clean and clear.

Connect Anything

A full range of input and outputs for connecting virtually any device: RCA inputs on each channel and four line-level inputs with two switchable to phono and two switchable to mic. Each of NS6’s four channels has an input selector so you can easily transition between controlling Serato DJ’s four software decks and your external sources. Enhanced Strip Search

I'm Mike and I make games and game assets. I'm a huge horror fan so a lot of my work will be (hopefully) pretty spooky! I really like the retro PS1/PSX aesthetic, I really feel it adds to the horror vibe as your mind needs to work a little harder on filling in the gaps and there's no better weapon to scare a player than the players mind it's self. So expect to find heavy inspiration from Puppet Combo and Haunted PS1!
